The Eyes Have It

I forgot that I have a blog. Thank you, Jamie, for kindly reminding me. Well . . . ummmmmm . . . huh . . . not sure what to talk about. (Maybe that is why I don't blog much in the first place?)

I am getting my first pair of prescription glasses at the ripe old age of 28. I realized on one of our trips driving on I-75 to Cincinnati that I can't read signs at night which is just a teensy bit scary if I'm driving around in an unfamiliar area, or in any are for that matter. So I decided to get the peepers checked and the eye doctor's exam confirmed that I should wear glasses for such situations. The hard part is finding glasses that suit an oblong shaped face like mine. Michael is very patient, however, and he keeps picking out frames for me to try on that look like his. I told him we really shouldn't try to look any more alike. So far, my favorite was an orange plastic framed pair at Lens Crafters. I just thought they were fun, although a little wacky for me. I tried on some with fake 'bling' on the side but Michael was not impressed. I guess I'll keep looking.
